Lakehead Boat Basin is a marina/boatyard providing dockage and storage in Duluth. During the summer, the winter storage area is converted to a RV Park or camper sites. It is located only three blocks south of the Aerial Bridge on what is called park point or Minnesota Point. The Lakehead Boat Basin offers 30 RV parking sites. Camping opportunities range from fully developed campgrounds to secluded wilderness as well as backcountry (non-wilderness) sites that have few or no facilities. Boating, canoeing, and fishing opportunities can be had on the more than 2,000 lakes and streams found within the forest.
